B.Sc. (Nursing) a Degree Course.
The College of Nursing strictly follows, the curriculum formulated by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The training period is for 4 years.
Duration: 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
+2 Sc. with min of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST Candidates.
Age and Sex:
17 years on or before 31.12.2016, open to female & male candidates.
Form Fees :
orm & Prospectus fee Rs. 450/- may be sent in the shape of DD in favour of COLLEGE OF NURSING, CUTTACK, Payable at CUTTACK.
Internship: 6 Months (Within 4 yrs)
We aim to open M.sc (Nursing), 2 years Course in the near future.
M.Sc ( Nursing)
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Course Curriculum
Scheme of Examination
- First Yr.: 2nd week of September
- Second Yr.: 2nd week of September
- Third Yr.: 2nd week of September
- Fourth Yr.: 2nd week of September
- The examination shall be held once a year by Utkal University

Student Nurses Association:
Aim:
To promote a co-operative sprit among students & uphold the dignity and honour of the Nursing Profession. Students of all batches are members of the Student Nurses Association. It is the only professional organization at the National level. Students contribute articles related to their practice to the nursing journal at national level.
They also receive journals every month, which is highly educative in updating their knowledge & skills.
Students participate in meetings and conferences at State/National level. Student Nurses Association New Delhi Organizes students meet at different places of India bi-annually. This year preparation are going ahead to compete at State and National Level which will be held at Berehampur & Bangalore respectively.Recently SNA of our College is healed by :

College of Nursing, Cuttack was the only Nursing Institution who own a prize at National level for which we are really proud.
